Life has been going nuts ever since I wrote to you guys last. I can hardly remember all the way back to that work dinner party Dad had me go to. I swear I’ve been to a dozen of those up-tight boring parties since, all as crappy as the last. Only things they are good for are making impressions (good or/and bad) and for a good excuse to buy a new cute outfit. Unfortunately, both of those can turn bad. For example, I wore a totally gorgeous black-sequinned cocktail dress with a rather low bust line which I totally needed a push-up bra with to some design premier party the other week and everyone was gossiping about how I had breast implants. WTF!?! I’m like 17! Suuuuure, why not go and get some fake titties! And how about a new nose and pumped lips while I’m at it. That’s what the rage is I hear. This world that we live in is totally and utterly superficial. UHH! Make me sick!
Last time I wrote in I believe I was in that awkward situation with Taj. Well, in the end, nothing happened. He came back from his surfing trip and we hung out like normal, still best mates, yet nothing more. Sometimes I wonder what is going on in that boy’s head. Sometime I wonder what is going on in my own. Hah! ANYWAY, there’s a new boy in town; Taj’s older brother Aaron. Profile? Well, he’s 21-years-old, has just come back from a surfing trip around the world, he’s a total hotty and a total party boy. I would never consider dating Aaron, but damn is he fun. We’ve run into each other a couple of times at parties and shit, and he’s totally into me. He’s already asked me out like heaps, and of course I’ve rejected him each time, but I must admit, he’s a bit of a sweetheart, and he has the act down-packed. I’ve noticed a bit of tension between him and Taj though. I know that they have never been close and now that Aaron is back, I can see why. They are complete opposites with one raging interest: surfing. They are very competitive, yet I never took Taj as that type. BOYS! Uhh. Ha-ha-ha.
Well, I’ve started university. It’s pretty scary and intimidating, but once I get used to this new lifestyle and can actually find my way around campus I know I’m going to love it. Oh yeah, and Dad got a new girlfriend. We’ll see how long this one lasts. They’re off in New York at the moment, doing goodness knows what. I think Dad has some business deal to negotiate, and she (Melinda) is just tagging along. Whatever.
