I can’t believe I’m up this early after a big night. And it was a MASSIVE night, full of dancing and full-on drama. It was pretty crazy the way things went, but I did have a good time, most of the night. But let’s not confuse you!
At school, everybody was talking about Emma’s party and how much it was going to go off. She had invited every one from our year group and a few of the cool Year 11’s. Emma also invited heaps of people out of school, including Taj and some of his mates, and yes, you guessed it, Rachael. Emma is too nice not to invite someone, and I guess it would have been pretty rude not to invite her, considering Taj was going.
I had already promised Emma I would go a bit early, just to help her set up and get ready. Taj and I had already decided to go together, with Rachael, but Rachael ended up having a late tutoring session at uni or something, so she was going to rock up later. Taj didn’t consider that she would have a problem with this, but she did; she had a major problem with it as he found out later on, but I won’t get into that just yet. When we arrived at Emma’s (she only lives about five minutes driving distance from ours), everything was completely set up. Her mum had gotten people in during the day while we were at school to decorate and stuff. It looked pretty cool, I must say. They had speakers put up around her backyard and the DJ was already there setting up. Emma didn’t need any help setting up after all, though I did help her get ready. She looked hot! She looked like the ultimate party girl and I just loved her new dress. She definately had that whole ‘party girl’ statement for sure. And the party went off. It was awesome. Everybody was up dancing, mainly because everyone was totally smashed on the free alcohol. I wasn’t though, I’m not really into drinking, you may be surprised to hear. I don’t need to kill brain cells to have a good time. The good times stopped though when Rachael finally arrived. She arrived way later than Taj had thought, and he had spent most of the night out the front trying to call her. She fully started yelling at him in the middle of the party; it was so totally obvious she had begun drinking beforehand. He was just trying to hug her but she kept on pushing him away. I really really really hate to say it, but it was kind of funny the way she did it. I felt so humiliated for Taj-babes though. He was trying so hard. He had done absolutely nothing wrong and he was apologising to her. Later on I saw Rachael out the front puking in the garden (ew, trash!) and leaving in her car (yep, drink driving, what a bloody tool), even though Taj tried to stop her. But that wasn’t the end of the drama. For me, it began when fucking Shane turned up. He’s my ex-boyfriend, so there was no way that Emma was going to invited him. We broke up two-weeks ago, when I found out he’d been shagging some slut behind my back. Ever since he’s been trying to call me. He even had the nerve to turn up at my house the day after I found out. I talk as though we hadn’t been together for long, but we were. We’ve been on and off since Year 9. It was kind of a big deal. I even thought we were, you know, going to lose our V-plates together. Turned out he couldn’t wait. So the instant moment I saw him at Emma’s I got pretty upset. Emma went up to him and tried to sweet talk him into leaving, but it didn’t work very well, considering she was already on her sixth Smirnoff. He just came walking straight up to me and was telling me how fucking sorry he was. It wasn’t that simple though, he kind of broke my fucking heart. I tried to get away from him, but he kept persisting. he kept on saying things like how pretty I looked, then he’d say that I looked really sexy and he’d try to pull me closer, the prick. Then he did something that stopped the whole party. He kissed me. I couldn’t believe how much of a dick head he was being. I tried to pull away but he wouldn’t let go of me. Then, I can’t remember really. I can’t remember everything, but all I know that Shayne and Taj ended up in the pool fighting. Even though Taj is older, Shayne was a lot bigger from playing footy, and Taj suffered a few blows, though he I’ll give him credit for giving Shayne a black eye (or so I heard). I don’t really know how I felt, I was angry, yet upset and at the same time a bit embarrassed. After that the party practically ended. Taj and I didn’t talk after the fight. He just got out of the pool and left, all soggy. I felt really bad considering none of this would have happened if it wasn’t for me. I still can’t believe all of that happened, hahaha. It’s kinda crazy! At least Emma had a good time, though she wasn’t feeling too good this morning. I ended up staying at hers the night. I didn’t really feel like staying for breakfast though, that’s why I’m home so early.
Think I might go back to bed now hey. I’m pretty tired. I guess I better go see Taj later on, considering. Poor bloke.
