There has been even more blog-neglection on my behalf once again for the last month and a bit. But what can you do right? I’ve been out enjoying my uni holidays, the bright warm sunny skies and finally being a fully-pledged legal adult. I got my exam results a couple of weeks ago and I must brag here, I absolutely aced! I ended up with two high distinctions and three distinctions, which just made my year. I’m thinking maybe next year changing my degree though. I would really like to go into the more business end of advertising, maybe even promotions or something. I’m still looking into it, but so far everything looks pretty flexible, so hopefully that all pans out.
For now however, I have just been making the most of my holidays. My new(ish) job is fantastic. I work practically 5 days a week, sometimes just half days, helping out around the office. Mostly I just help doing the boring, no-skill-required jobs, but I’ve also been allowed to sit in at meetings with clients and put in my two-bob’s worth. Fantastic experience. I love wearing my dress-suits and Bally black heels.
My 18th was earlier this month, and I had a blast! I went to dinner with the family on the night before my actual birthday, and then Emma had organised massive weekend out on the Saturday and Sunday. We stayed in the city at a penthouse apartment, where we had a bit of a pre-drink bash with our closest friends, and then went out on the town, hitting up the hottest clubs. Oh, it was a crazy night.
Ever since I have been out every weekend night, partying it up with Emma. The weather has been incredibly beautiful as well, nice and sunny and hot! Can’t beat the Aussie blue skies! In the morning I tend to go to the beach before the wind props up, have a swim, sometimes a bit of a surf. I’ve actually been getting into surfing a bit more lately. I used to do it when I was in my tweens/early teens, and then kind of stopped. I’ve never been very good, but lately I’ve had the urge to go out and paddle around a bit. The surf isn’t that great near me, but I don’t mind just building up my core strength paddling. I think I’m going on a little surf trip with Taj and his mates early next year. That shall be interesting!
What else? Well, I’ve gone to a couple of music festivals as well, pumping up the music and dancing like it’s 1990! Gutta love summer.

I just realised the dirty side of my last post title. Oops.
Okay, so I’m on uni exams right now, which totally sucks. I’ve done three this week and have my last one next week. So that would be the reason for my lack of entries about the Melbourne Cup Day trip, etc. It was a good trip. I go practically every year, so it’s the same old, though I’ve never gone with Taj, and he looked just smashing. Seriously though, all the chicks chatting him up, made me smile. He’s a cutie. And now he’s gone. He went to Bali with friends yesterday on a surfing/drinking trip. He finished all his uni exams very quickly, lucky him. So now I’m missing him and studying sucks like crazy, and I’m bored and stressed.
Hmm what else to say… Ah yes, pictures, pictures, pictures. I must admit, I’m kind of funny about chucking pictures up on the internet of myself, but I was like, okay, since people have been asking, I will chuck some on. So I go to put my photos on my computer just before, and there’s no pictures on my friggen camera! I’m pretty sad, because they were all on there last week, cause I’d checked them out and yeah, now nothingggg. Any ideas how to get them back peoples??? When Taj comes back I will see if I can steal some of his picturessss. :[ I had the best pictures though. Like this cute one of me and him, kissing, holding hands, making out in the Emirates tent (JK!). Man, I don’t like those kissing pictures people have on their Myspaces. Seriously, ew. Keep them to yourself.

I found a dress! Okay, so it’s a cream lace dress, very elegant and classy (perfect for the races). It’s going to go perfectly with my creme over-sized hat. I’m also going to wear some cream lace gloves that I’ve had for a while, with a pair of (you guessed it) cream heels. I think I need to add a different colour to the outfit, but we’ll see how it looks all together.
Should be a good day!
But for now I must go and study. Exams really aren’t much fun.
I’m flying out to Melbourne on Monday evening for the Melbourne Cup (search it on Google if you haven’t heard of it), with Dad, Mel and Taj. It’s a famous Aussie event, that has turned into a world-class race day, with world-class fashion’s on the field. AND I still haven’t got a dress! I’m going to skip class tomorrow and find something! I have my hat though, so the dress has got to match the hat. Let’s make a statement ladies!

That’s right, I am back. And it feels good. So what has everybody been up to? Been busy?
And me… well, everything has been great. I’m getting high distinctions for practically everything at uni, Taj and I are going top guns, Jack and Emma are back together (long story gone), I’m working at that advertising firm (which I have been for the last few weeks or so), and yeah, just things are good. Of course life is so extremely busy, but I guess I like to keep myself occupied.
Oh, and notice the my new layout, with custom headerrr! Haha, okay, so I’m not very happy with it and the quality is so shit (I made it in Illustrator and then had to convert it to jpeg and blah blah blah), so I’ll fix that at a later date.
Anyway guys, I’m off to dinner with Chanel and Sasha.
